PaySync: a unified payment gateway across a multi-product platform

Challenge

DriveHub ran several digital products on disconnected billing and subscription systems, with inconsistent payment workflows across platforms. Refunds and reconciliation were manual and error-prone, and the team had limited visibility on transactions and payment statuses. They needed a single, secure way to handle payments across every product without rebuilding each one.

Approach

We built PaySync, a modular payment integration layer over Stripe (extensible to other providers). It exposes a unified payment API so every app transacts consistently, automates billing and refund management, and synchronizes statuses through real-time webhooks with built-in error handling. An admin reconciliation dashboard gives finance full oversight. The whole framework is PCI-DSS and GDPR compliant and designed for reuse across DNA's other products.
