DataPulse: high-performance analytics engine for 90+ data sources

Challenge

Toll4Europe operated a fragmented multi-database architecture that blocked coherent analytics. 90+ data sources spread across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, with over 90% of the data locked inside Oracle behind restricted access. Volume and velocity constraints made processing time and system load extremely sensitive. Strategic reporting was slow, and real-time insight was needed without paralyzing the production databases.

Approach

DataPulse is a high-performance analytics layer designed to extract, process, and visualize massive data flows. Optimized Oracle procedures run every 10 minutes on the remote databases for incremental processing. Advanced analytical SQL functions handle fine-grained segmentation and pattern detection at the database layer. Interactive business dashboards were co-designed with end users to turn complex raw data into actionable KPIs.
